What is a UTI?
A Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) occurs when bacteria enter the urinary tract and cause infection, commonly affecting the bladder and urethra. Symptoms include a strong urge to urinate, a burning sensation during urination, and cloudy or strong-smelling urine.
Prevention Tips
- Drink plenty of water to flush out bacteria.
- Wipe front to back after using the restroom.
- Avoid irritating personal hygiene products.
UTIs are common, and while they can be uncomfortable, they’re often easily treatable with antibiotics.
